​In this ONLINE CEU course you will earn 14 CEUs over FOUR,  3-hour long, sessions and develop your own FBA and BIP that will serve as a template for your future practice. This practical course is for those individuals who need to take what they have learned and apply it to their current practice. We are both very experienced at conducting FBAs in the public and private school setting and in homes for a variety of individuals. We also will share with you how to write a Behavior Plan for those environments that a variety of people can implement so that behavior change is possible for all people. We will provide you with many tools and examples for you to develop your skills and we will even assess an FBA and BIP that you create during your time with us and give you feedback.  We want you to have the best practice and best training outcomes that you can so that individuals that you serve will have the best possible futures that they can!

Topics that will be covered throughout the course are:

The cost of the 4 session CEU course which includes 14 CEUs and all of the valuable resources plus our feedback on your plans is just $375. You must attend each session in its entirety to earn your credits.

Upon course completion participants will write a complete FBA with all of the following components for the instructors’ review:
  • reason for referral

  • target behavior

  • past strategies that have been effective or not effective

  • graphed ABC data

  • graphed frequency data

  • graphed data from an indirect assessment

  • list contributing setting events to challenging behavior

  • hypothesis statement regarding the function of the behavior

  • functionally equivalent replacement behavior

Participants will also write a complete BIP with all of the following  components for the instructors’ review:
  • target behavior for decrease

  • hypothesis statement regarding the function of the behavior

  • functionally equivalent replacement behavior

  • antecedent intervention strategies

  • consequence strategies

  • short term objectives for behavior change

  • data collection procedure

  • termination criteria
